In this episode, SquadCast co-founders Zach and Rock sit down with Hendel Leiva, podcast producer who, just two years ago, listened to our show and wondered how he could eventually become a guest. He did it!
Hendel’s work started out in immigration reform and other nonprofit work surrounding communities of color. He has since worked in the podcast space in a number of roles including as a host, a producer, an interview booker, and more. Listening to hear about Handel’s unique approach to podcast production, and how it has gained him some recognition in the space.
Hendel also shares with us a less-than-stellar experience he had working for someone who he, at one point, thought very highly of. This anecdote teaches a unique lesson on being careful to idolize our heroes.
This is a raw and vulnerable episode of Between Two Mics and we are thankful that Hendel shared his time with us.
